PVC Union Check Valve, Non-Return, 15 to 50 mm

Description

Overview

A PVC non return valve lets water flow in one direction and shuts automatically when it tries to reverse. That protects pumps, filters and tanks from backflow and pressure surges.

This is a union check valve with a socket weld (SW) connection. The union design lets you unscrew it for cleaning or replacement without cutting the line. Sizes run from 15 mm to 50 mm, and more connection parts are in our pipe fittings range.

Where it works

Fit one on the delivery side of a borehole or transfer pump on a Limpopo farm so the line does not drain back, or on a filtration skid where reverse flow would disturb the media. It also protects water storage and tank installations, irrigation networks, commercial water distribution and process piping. Join it to the line with a PVC solvent socket and solvent cement, or take a branch with a PVC solvent tee.
