Overview

This 25mm diesel hose is a short 6 m length of 1″ rubber fuel line, a straight swap for the delivery hose on most pump kits and bowsers. At 6 m it gives a couple of metres more reach than the common 4 m factory hose without trailing on the ground.

A 25 mm (1″) bore carries more fuel with less back-pressure, so it suits 70 L/min pumps, 220 V cast-iron pumps and gravity-feed kits where a thinner hose would choke the flow. It weighs about 0.78 kg per metre and the rubber stays flexible in cold weather. It is heavier than 20 mm hose, so a reel makes longer lengths much easier to handle. Pressure rating and end fittings are not listed, so tell us your pump outlet and nozzle when you order. Useful partner parts include the 1000 L Piusi bowser with 12V 70 L/min pump and the 70 L/min water-absorbent filter cartridge.

Yes. Our medium manual hose reel holds 40 m of 20 mm hose or 25 m of 25 mm hose, so 6 m of this hose fits with room to spare. The reels are sold without hose, which is why buyers order the two together. A reel keeps the hose off the ground, away from sun damage and out of the way of vehicles.

Should I choose 25 mm or 20 mm diesel hose?

Choose 25 mm if your pump delivers 60 to 70 L/min or more, or if you run a gravity kit, because the wider bore cuts back-pressure and speeds up filling. For a small 12 V pump around 40 L/min, the lighter and cheaper 20 mm hose does the job fine.
