Overview

A 25 mm worm-drive hose clamp is a band with a screw drive that tightens round a hose to hold it on a barb, tail or fitting. Turn the screw and the band closes up.

This 25 mm size is for small-bore hose connections on fuel transfer lines, pump inlets and water lines. The supplier does not state the clamp material, so ask us if you need stainless steel for a specific job. For larger hose, our 40 mm worm-drive hose clamp covers 40 mm.

Fit it over the hose, slide the hose onto the tail until it seats, then tighten with a screwdriver or nut driver. Keep a few spare in the workshop, especially if you build up lines with a crimped hose fitting set, because a lost clamp stops a repair.
