Overview

This clear PVC fuel hose is a reinforced suction and transfer line for diesel and petrol, sold per metre. Its bore is 19 mm and the outside is 25 mm, which is why it is usually called the 1″ clear hose. Because the wall is see-through, you can watch the fuel move, check that a suction line has primed, and spot water or sediment before it reaches your pump.

It works on the suction side of transfer pumps, as a drum or IBC draw-off line, and for short gravity runs. For a pressure delivery hose to a nozzle, use a rubber hose such as the 1″ commercial fuel hose. Finish the ends neatly with a crimped hose fitting set or a pair of worm-drive clamps.

Farm workshops in Limpopo and the Free State use clear PVC fuel hose to draw diesel out of 210 L drums with a hand or 12V pump. Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces, normally within 1 to 3 days. Each metre ships at 0.35 kg, which falls in the up-to-30 kg band at R550.
