Overview

A 3/4″ NPT hose breakaway without cover is a single-use safety coupling that parts if a hose is dragged away, with a valve in each half that closes to hold the fuel in.

It is the uncovered twin of the 3/4″ NPT hose breakaway with cover: same 3/4″ NPT threads, same 5-50 L/min range, same 250 lb maximum separation force. Pick it when you do not need the outer cover.

After it has separated it must be replaced. Where you expect repeated driveaways, the 3/4″ reusable hose breakaway can be reconnected instead. The weight on this model is taken from the covered 3/4″ version, so treat the 0.4 kg as close but not weighed.
