Overview

A 1″ NPT hose breakaway without cover is a safety link fitted in a dispenser hose that pulls apart under load and closes both sides, so a driveaway does not rip out the dispenser or flood the apron.

This is the plain version of our 1″ NPT hose breakaway with cover, with the same dual-valve body and the same 1″ NPT threads. The outer cover is left off, which suits installers who prefer to inspect the coupling by eye or fit their own protection.

Each half holds a valve that shuts as the two halves part. The separation force is set at a maximum of 300 lb pull, and the working range is 5-80 L/min.
