Overview

This 3 inch composite hose is a 4.5 m petroleum hose with 3″ male swage nipples on both ends. Three-inch is the standard size for many PTO tanker pumps and bulk meters, so this hose links pump, meter and tank without reducers. The layered polypropylene and wire construction keeps it flexible, light and safe on suction.

Run it with a 3″ bulk meter on a tanker, or between a storage tank and a transfer pump at a depot. For smaller trailers the 65 mm composite hose is lighter, and for full-bore gravity drops the 100 mm composite hose with male ends moves more fuel. Lengths of 6 m and 9.5 m are also available, priced on request.

Where it works

A 3 inch composite hose is the workhorse on rigid tankers delivering diesel to farms across Limpopo and the North West, and on mine service trucks in the Northern Cape. Depots in Gauteng use it between storage and loading pumps. It handles diesel, petrol, paraffin and oils, and works on both the suction and delivery side.
