Overview
This composite hose 100mm assembly is a 4.5 m petroleum offloading hose with a swage nipple on one end and a Barret gravity coupling on the other. It is built for road tanker drops into storage tanks, where you need a big bore for fast flow and a fitting that couples quickly to the tanker outlet. The layered construction keeps it light enough for one person to handle compared with rubber hose of the same size.
Fit a 4″ breakaway coupling in the line for drive-off protection. For a smaller 2″ transfer line, the 50 mm composite fuel hose uses the same construction.

What is a Barret coupling?
It is a quick-connect gravity coupling widely used on road tanker outlets for fuel offloading. It lets the driver couple and uncouple the hose quickly without tools. Check that your tanker or tank inlet uses the same coupling type and size before ordering, or send us a photo and we will confirm.
Why composite hose instead of rubber?
Composite hose is much lighter than rubber at the same bore and stays flexible, so it is easier to drag and coil at an offloading point. It handles petroleum products well and is rated to 7 bar. The trade-off is that it must not be crushed or kinked below its 360 mm bend radius.
