Overview

This 40mm hose clamp is a worm-drive band that squeezes a hose down onto a barbed tail or pipe spigot so the joint cannot pull off, weep or draw air. Turning the screw winds the band in evenly around the hose, so it grips the full circumference instead of pinching one spot.

Fit two side by side on suction lines, where a tiny air leak is enough to stop a pump priming. It is a natural partner for the 1″ commercial-type fuel hose. If you are replacing a tired suction line at the same time, the 1″ clear PVC suction hose lets you see fuel moving and spot air bubbles.
