Overview

This 1 inch diesel hose is a commercial-grade rubber delivery hose sold by the metre. It has a 25 mm bore, a nitrile (NBR) inner tube that resists diesel, oil and paraffin, and a synthetic rubber cover for rough handling. Cut it to length for bowsers, tank outlets and workshop pumps, then fit your own ends.

It is the value choice for diesel work where you do not need a retail dispenser hose. For forecourt pumps that also handle petrol, use the wire-braided 1″ retail fuel hose. To finish the ends quickly, add a crimped hose fitting set.

Questions about this product

Can I use this hose for petrol?

It is specified for diesel, oil and paraffin, not petrol. For petrol and ethanol blends, use the 1" retail hose, which has a wire braid for conductivity and a higher pressure rating. Using the wrong hose on petrol can lead to swelling, leaks and static risk.

How do I fit ends to it?

You can use crimped hose ends, done before dispatch if you order a fitting set, or barbed tails with two worm-drive clamps per end for low-pressure work. Crimped ends are neater and safer on pressure delivery lines. Tell us the length and fittings you want and we will make it up.

How much is delivery for a full roll?

A full 60 m roll weighs about 49 kg, so it falls in the 30 to 60 kg band at R950 anywhere in South Africa. Short lengths under about 37 m stay in the up-to-30 kg band at R550. Our own trucks run from Polokwane and usually arrive in 1 to 3 days.
