Overview

This is an automatic pump control unit (Speroni code 20040001) for single-phase pumps up to 1.1 kW. It has a 25 mm outlet, runs on 220 to 240 V at 50 or 60 Hz, and handles up to 10 A and 10 bar. Water temperature can be up to 60 °C.

The housing is rated IP65, so it tolerates dust and water spray where it is installed. At R 480 (VAT incl.) it is a low-cost way to automate a suction pump, a jet pump or a booster, so the pump switches itself rather than on a manual switch.

Where it works

Fit it to a booster or suction pump feeding a house from a JoJo tank in Gauteng, a farm pump in the Free State, or a replacement on an older QB-type pump whose controller has failed. Check that your pump is single-phase, 1.1 kW or less and has a 25 mm connection. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure how it will fit your pipework, since the pump itself is a separate purchase.
