The polypropylene camlock Type DP is a male end cap. Its male camlock profile locks into a female camlock coupler to seal and protect it when not in use, which helps prevent contamination, leakage and damage during storage or transport.

What does a Type DP cap fit?

It locks into a female camlock coupler of the same size, such as a Type B, C or D. It does not fit a male adaptor. For a male adaptor use the female end cap (Type DC).

Do I need an end cap on every coupler?

It is not compulsory, but a cap keeps dirt out and stops drips when a coupler sits idle, and it protects the coupler in storage and transport. Caps cost very little compared with a fouled hose or a contaminated tank.

Which sizes and prices are available?
