Overview

The Speck BADU 45/20 (code 204.5200.038) is the biggest spa jet pump in the BADU 45 range: 1.1 kW, sized for about 8 jets in a spa, jacuzzi, hot tub or jetted bath. The spa jet pump 1.1kW is the one to choose when the tub is large or every jet needs full pressure.

It is not self-priming and it is not intended for pool filtration. Install it below the water level so water flows in under its own weight.

Where it works

Use it on large hot tubs, multi-seat spas and jetted pools at lodges, guest houses and homes with plenty of jets. It is a popular upgrade for tubs in the Western Cape and Mpumalanga where owners want stronger massage pressure. Fit it on a flat, dry base below the water line, and use a qualified electrician for the wiring. With fewer jets, the 0.75 kW BADU 45/16 or 0.45 kW BADU 45/11 will do.
