Description

Overview

The Speck BADU 45/11 (code 204.5110.038) is a 0.45 kW jet and circulation pump for spas, jacuzzis, hot tubs and jetted baths, sized for about 4 jets. If you are looking for a spa jet pump 0.45kW, this is the smallest in the three-pump BADU 45 range, which steps up to about 6 jets and then about 8 jets.

The pump is not self-priming and it is not meant for pool filtration. It must sit below the water level so water flows into it.

Key features

0.45 kW output, 0.67 kW input, about 2840 rpm
230 V single-phase, 3.1 A running current
50 mm union connections
Self-draining when the front union is loosened, which helps with winter and servicing
Handles water up to 60 degrees Celsius
Sized by the maker for about 4 jets

Where it works

Use it on jetted baths, small hot tubs and spa pools in homes, guest houses and lodges. It is a replacement or new-build choice for installers in Gauteng, the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal. Mount it below the water line and have it wired by a qualified electrician. If you have more than four jets, move up to the 0.75 kW BADU 45/16 or the 1.1 kW BADU 45/20. For filtration pumps see our pool and pond pumps. Send us your jet count and we will confirm the pump.
