0.75 kW Variable Speed Drive, 220 V Three-Phase, 4.1 A

Description

Overview

This 0.75 kW (1 HP) variable speed drive is a frequency inverter that raises or lowers the speed of the motor on your pump by changing the frequency it receives. It runs on 220 V three-phase and is rated at 4.1 A. Changing the speed lets the pump deliver the duty the application needs at a given moment instead of running flat out. Compare ratings under pump controllers and VSDs.

Key features

• 0.75 kW / 1 HP rating
• 220 V, three-phase supply
• Rated current 4.1 A
• Alters frequency to speed up or slow down the pump motor
• Lets the pump match the duty to the job
• Part of a wider range from 0.75 kW up to 15 kW
• Pick the rating to match motor power and supply voltage

Where it works

Small booster sets, garden and farm irrigation pumps and household pressure systems are typical uses. A drive lets you hold a steady pressure, soften start-ups and cut power when full speed is not needed, which helps in Limpopo and Free State farms where electricity costs add up. Match the drive to the motor before you order: its kW, the supply voltage and the current should line up.

The same rating is also sold for other supplies, such as the 0.75 kW 380 V drive, and a bigger option is the 1.5 kW 220 V drive. Not sure which fits? Send us the motor nameplate.
