Superflo Q80 Pool Sand Filter, 2-Bag, 565 mm Tank, 6-Way Valve

Description

Overview

The Superflo Q80 is the smallest Superflo sand filter, a 2-bag unit for pools up to about 40,000 litres with a 6-position multiport valve fitted. A single handle selects filter, backwash, rinse, waste, recirculate or closed, which keeps maintenance simple on a small pool.

The 565 mm tank holds 80 kg of filter sand, bought separately as two 40 kg bags, and is sized for a 0.6 kW pool pump. It is the same tank diameter as the 3-bag Q120, with less sand for a smaller water volume.

Where it works

A 2 bag pool sand filter suits plunge pools, small family pools and above-ground pools that are plumbed to a fixed filter. It is a common choice for townhouse and cottage pools in the Western Cape and Gauteng, where the pad space is limited. Check your pool volume first, because a filter that is too small backwashes more often. Send us the size in litres and we will confirm the right filter. If you need more capacity, the 3-bag Superflo Q120 is the next size up. The full range is in our pool and pond pumps category, and a variable speed pump such as the Eco VSD Pro 18 lets you turn the flow down.
