Overview

This 10 000 litre fish breeding pond is a large rotationally moulded polyethylene pond for fish breeding, holding and small-scale aquaculture. It is a 180 kg tank, 2850 mm across, in UV-resistant, BPA-free blue LLDPE, and has a 40 mm outflow and drainage fitting for easy emptying and water changes. Set it up on a flat surface with no protrusions, positioned where you want it, because moving it once filled is not an option.

Where it works

Think trout and tilapia holding on Limpopo and Mpumalanga farms, breeding pond for a commercial grower, or a large koi holding pond. Keep the area child safe, because an open pond is a drowning risk.

Add a pump such as the APS-451 at 60 W for circulation in a feature pond. Ask us about aeration and filtration for stocked ponds.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Polokwane, Tzaneen, Mbombela, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Rustenburg and Bloemfontein. Delivery fees are set by total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) are delivered free. This item has a shipping weight of 190 kg, so we quote its delivery individually.

Tank warranty: 1 to 2 years, depending on the model.
