Description

Overview

The polypropylene camlock Type F has a male camlock adaptor on one end and a male BSP thread on the other. The thread screws into a female-threaded pipe, valve or equipment port, and the adaptor locks into any female camlock coupler of the same size.

Polypropylene resists corrosion, chemicals and weathering, and it is light and economical, so it suits agricultural, industrial, water and chemical handling duty. The straight-through design keeps the pipe diameter, so flow is not restricted. Browse the full pipe fittings range for the other camlock types.

Questions about this product

When should I choose a Type F over a Type A?

Choose the Type F when the port you are connecting to has a female thread, because its male BSP thread screws into it. Choose the Type A when the port has a male thread. Both give you a male camlock adaptor on the free end.

Which couplers lock onto a Type F?

Any female camlock coupler of the same size, including Types B, C and D. Match the nominal size, close the cam arms and the joint is locked. Use PTFE tape on the BSP thread to seal it.

Which sizes and prices are available?

The Type F comes in 15, 20, 25, 32, 40 and 50 mm. Prices run from R 10 for the 15 mm size to R 37 for the 50 mm size, VAT incl., so pick your size from the options on this page. Each size has its own product code, which makes re-ordering easy.

Do you deliver to Pietermaritzburg?

Yes. We deliver with our own trucks from Polokwane to Pietermaritzburg and the rest of South Africa in 1 to 3 days. A single fitting weighs well under 1 kg, so it falls in the up to 30 kg band at R550, and orders of R20,000 or more ship free. Add other fittings to the same order to share the delivery fee.
