Description

Overview

This 12V chemical transfer pump moves 30 to 35 L/min of AdBlue and compatible chemicals from drum to tank, powered directly from a 12V battery. The polypropylene body resists many liquids that would corrode a metal housing, and the 1″ ports take standard hose.

It runs faster than our nylon-bodied 12V AdBlue pump, so choose it when fill time matters or when you handle chemicals other than AdBlue. Check the liquid against a compatibility chart first. For mains sites, the 220V chemical transfer pump is the better fit, and the 12V AdBlue transfer pump covers AdBlue only. Browse the whole chemical handling equipment range for hose and nozzles.

Where it works

Farms use this pump for crop-spray chemical transfer and AdBlue top-ups straight from the bakkie, while transport yards in Gauteng and the Eastern Cape use it to fill truck AdBlue tanks. Mines and contractors in Limpopo and Mpumalanga mount it in service vehicles for remote machine servicing. Workshops use it to decant liquids from IBCs into smaller containers.

With a 16 A draw, use heavy cable and a fuse, and keep the engine running for long transfers.

Questions about this product

Can this pump handle petrol or diesel?

No, it is meant for AdBlue and compatible chemicals, not fuel. Use a fuel-rated 12V transfer pump for diesel or petrol. If you are unsure that your chemical suits a polypropylene body, send us the product name and we will check before you order.

What battery do I need to run this 12V pump?

A normal 12V vehicle or tractor battery will do. The pump draws about 16 A, so use thick cable, a 20 A fuse and good clamps. For long transfers keep the engine running. A small deep-cycle battery also works if it is well charged.
