Overview

This 12V AdBlue transfer pump moves AdBlue (AUS32) out of drums and bulk containers at up to 28 L/min, powered straight from a vehicle or tractor battery. It is a compact transfer unit in a reinforced nylon body, so the urea solution never touches bare metal.

It is the 12V sibling in our range of chemical handling equipment, so you can fill a truck tank in the yard, on the farm or at a roadside breakdown without a mains point. Where it works

Late-model diesel trucks, tractors and generators with SCR systems all need AdBlue, and this pump keeps the supply point mobile. Haulage depots on the N1 near Polokwane use 12V pumps to top up trucks from a 200 L drum, and Mpumalanga coal contractors run them off a service bakkie battery between sites. Farms in the Free State and Limpopo keep one beside the diesel tank for planter and harvester tractors. Workshops use it to decant from IBCs into smaller dispensers.

Keep AdBlue away from fuel and from copper or brass fittings, and keep the pump clean and dry after use.

Can I run this AdBlue pump off a bakkie battery?

Yes. It is a 12V DC pump drawing about 12 A at full load, so a normal vehicle battery handles it. Connect with proper clamps and an inline fuse, and keep the engine running on long transfers so the battery does not drain. It is rated for 30 minutes of running at a time.

How fast does it fill a truck AdBlue tank?

The maximum flow is 28 L/min, so a 60 L truck AdBlue tank fills in a little over two minutes, and a 200 L drum empties in about seven minutes of pumping. Real flow drops with long or narrow hoses and a low battery, so use short 1" hose where you can.
