Overview

This combo is a complete off-grid toilet: a durable outdoor toilet unit, a 1750 L septic tank and a ceramic toilet suite, bought together so nothing is missing on site. It is for places with no sewer, such as farms, building sites, schools, lodges and remote locations.

The unit and the tank are rotationally moulded from LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene), so they are weather-resistant and corrosion-free. The close-coupled ceramic suite is a locally made Betta. Model code Com-UT-1750-Ceramic. Installation is not included.

Where it works

Choose it for a farm labour compound in Limpopo, a school in the Eastern Cape, a bush lodge in Mpumalanga, a poolside toilet or a Gauteng construction site. Remote places with no sewer get a working toilet and a treatment tank from one order.

Put the unit on a stable, level surface, test the ground for groundwater or clay, and keep the tank clear of vehicles. Use a qualified builder or plumber. Add starter tablets for a new tank and a spare 110 mm rubber seal. See the septic tank range for more.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Polokwane, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Mbombela, Rustenburg, Bloemfontein and Durban. At about 145 kg this is a large item, so delivery is on quotation. Send us the site address and we will price it. Delivery is free on orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.). Tank warranty: 1 to 2 years, depending on the model. Toilet unit: manufacturer warranty of 10 years, ask us for the terms. Placing the unit and tank in their final positions is the buyer’s responsibility.
