Overview

This septic tank and toilet hut combo gives you a working outdoor toilet and the sewage system behind it in one order. The hut is a tan polyethylene utility unit supplied with a ceramic toilet with cistern and a corner sink with tap. It connects to a 1750 L septic tank, a 300 L inspection chamber and a 1000 L soak away chamber with drilled pipe. Installation is not included.

Where it works

This is a practical set for building sites in Gauteng that need a proper toilet and basin, a pool house on a plot near Pretoria, or a farm labour toilet in Limpopo. It also suits game lodges, church grounds and weekend properties without a sewer line. Test for groundwater and clay before excavating the tank, and keep it where vehicles cannot drive over it. Use a qualified builder or plumber for the connections.
