Overview

This 500L honey sucker is a horizontal tank and 6.5 HP petrol trash pump mounted together on a skid, made to sit in the back of a bakkie. It sucks out septic tanks, conservancy tanks and pit toilets through a 3 inch pump that moves up to about 50,000 L/h, then carries the load to the disposal point.

Does it work as a vacuum truck?

No. This unit uses a 3 inch centrifugal trash pump driven by a 6.5 HP petrol engine. It primes with a little water, then moves sewage and sludge at up to about 50,000 L/h. Without a vacuum pump there is no oil separator to service, which keeps running costs down.

Can I pump diesel or chemicals with it?

No. It is for sewage, sludge, grey water and muddy water only. Pump seals and tank are not meant for fuel or chemicals, and an effluent tank should never be used for anything you later need clean. For diesel, look at our bowsers instead.
