Overview

The 12500 L septic tank (12500S) is a high-capacity underground tank for containing and processing sewage waste on sites with no municipal connection. It suits installations serving approximately 1 to 55 people. It is 2800 mm long and 2500 mm high, with 110 mm inlet and outlet and a 450 mm lid, and weighs about 450 kg.

It is made from heavy-duty LLDPE that will not rust or corrode, and its extra thickness helps it cope with underground pressure while keeping roots and rodents out. As wastewater enters, solids settle and biological processes break down the organic waste, so correct sizing, installation and ongoing management matter. Where it works

Larger residential properties, farms, lodges, schools, commercial properties and rural developments without a municipal sewer. Before installing, check the ground for groundwater and clay soil, which may require changes to the installation, and follow the guideline supplied. Never place it where vehicles can drive. Use a qualified builder or plumber, with a crane or loader for the lift. Add a 800 mm manhole and 25 L septic liquid.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town, Polokwane and Mahikeng. At about 450 kg, delivery is on quotation, so ask us for a price to your site. Delivery is free on orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.). Tank warranty: 1 to 2 years, depending on the model.
