1750 L Septic Tank Combo with 1000 L Soak Away, 4 to 7 People

Description

Overview

This 1750 L septic tank combo is a complete underground sewage set for a household of four to seven people. It includes the 1750 L tank, a 300 L inspection chamber, a 1000 L soak away chamber, a 6 m drilled pipe, a starter tablet and the elbow, breather, T-piece and connecting pipe. Installation is not included, and the maker recommends a qualified builder or plumber does it.

The tank is rotationally moulded from linear low-density polyethylene, UV resistant, with child safety lids and extra wall thickness. Roots and rodents cannot penetrate it. If your household is smaller, look at the 1000 L combo, and see the whole septic tank range for larger sets.

• 110 mm inlet and 110 mm outlet
• Inspection chamber checks tank health and blockages
• 1000 L soak away, 1200 mm diameter x 950 mm high
• Washing machines, showers, baths and sinks connect directly to the soak away
• 1 starter tablet; repeat every 6 to 8 months, non-toxic
• Green or tan

Where it works

This size is a common choice for a family house on a plot in Limpopo or North West, a farmhouse in the Free State or a guest lodge unit near the Drakensberg. Starter tablets and French drains can be bought at extra cost if the soil needs it. Test the ground for groundwater and clay, because both can cause installation problems, and keep the whole system away from vehicle traffic.
