Overview

The 2500 L vertical septic tank (V2500S) contains and processes human and animal sewage waste for 1 to 10 people. It stands 1400 mm high and 1760 mm across, with 110 mm inlet and outlet and a 450 mm lid, and is built to go in the ground.

It is made from LLDPE with extra thickness and durability, so it resists underground pressure and keeps roots and rodents out. At about 90 kg it needs a few people or a small machine to place. Fittings and an installation guideline come with the tank. See all septic tanks for other sizes.

Where it works

Larger family homes, farm worker housing, small lodges and rural clinics without a sewer line, from Limpopo bushveld to KwaZulu-Natal hillsides. Test the ground for groundwater and clay soils so the installation can be adjusted. Do not place it where vehicles can drive, and use a qualified builder or plumber. Starter tablets and French drains are separate. For underground water storage you need a different tank. Add a 600 mm manhole or 25 L septic liquid.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Richards Bay, Johannesburg, Polokwane and Mbombela. At about 90 kg shipped, it falls in the 60 to 100 kg delivery band (R1,450). Delivery is free on orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.). Tank warranty: 1 to 2 years, depending on the model.
