Overview

This 250 L diesel transport tank holds diesel and compatible chemicals, and it is small enough to sit in a bakkie load bin or on a trailer deck. It is rotationally moulded from linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) in yellow, with ribs in the shell for stiffness and UV resistance for a life in the sun. At 15 kg empty, one person can lift it into position.

The tank is model H250M and comes with a 40 mm outlet fitting at the base. Use it for field refuelling runs, workshop top-ups or as a small stationary reserve beside a generator. If you need a horizontal 250 L tank that does not weigh down the vehicle, this is the size to start with. It is a medium-duty tank, built for transport and for standing use above ground.

Where it works

Use it above ground only, secure it once it is full, and never fill it with petrol, which attacks polyethylene and can cause the tank to fail.
