Overview

This 12V diesel pump kit is a complete transfer set: a 40 L/min pump that runs off a 12 V battery, a 4 m × 25 mm delivery hose, a manual nozzle and a flow meter. It moves diesel from a drum, IBC or tank into vehicles and machines without a generator or mains power.

The pump draws about 155 W (13 A), which a bakkie or tractor battery handles easily. It is rated for 15 minutes of running at a time, so let it cool between long transfers. The meter shows how much fuel each machine took. For a fixed workshop set-up, look at the 40 L/min kit on a wall-mount plate, and add the gravity kit with dirt filter if you also feed from a raised tank.
