Overview

This 20,000 L vertical diesel tank is the largest tank in our medium-duty vertical range, built for bulk diesel or chemical storage at specific gravity up to 1.4. It is model V20000M, rotationally moulded from virgin LLDPE, and it comes with a 3 in stainless steel outlet fitting included in the price. It is made for depots, mines and large farms that take tanker deliveries.

The Gauteng and KZN build is 2500 mm in diameter and 4475 mm high. A shorter, wider Cape build is also made, at 2750 mm in diameter and 3500 mm high, so tell us your region and available height when you order. A 50/40 mm yellow connector serves as the inlet, and a 450 mm lid gives access for inspection and cleaning.

Where it works

Mpumalanga coal and Limpopo platinum contractors use a tank this size for plant fuel, and bulk fuel depots in Gauteng and KZN use it to supply fleets. Large Free State and Western Cape estates keep one as a harvest-season store. Check the site for height and diameter, build a flat, compacted base, and secure the tank once full. A stand is not included. Never use it for petrol.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Johannesburg, Durban, Richards Bay, eMalahleni, Rustenburg, Cape Town and George. At 600 kg and over four metres high, this tank is delivered on quotation and needs a crane or loader to offload. Orders of R20,000 or more are delivered free (VAT incl.).
