Overview

This 15,000 L vertical diesel tank is a large stationary tank for diesel or compatible chemicals, rated to 1.4 specific gravity. It is model V15000M, rotationally moulded from virgin LLDPE in yellow, with a 2600 mm diameter and a height of 3200 mm. It suits farm fuel depots and mine workshops where deliveries come by tanker.

The ribbed wall resists the pressure of a full tank, and the UV-resistant material is made for the open veld. Supplied with 40/50 mm yellow connectors with sealed fittings, and a 450 mm lid for filling and cleaning. Fittings for chemical use are available at additional cost.

Where it works

Western Cape wine and fruit estates and Free State grain farms use a tank this size as a season-long diesel store. Limpopo and Mpumalanga mining contractors fit one at remote workshops, and bus depots in Gauteng use it as a fleet reserve. Make sure you have the height and diameter on site, and a flat, compacted base. Secure the tank once full. A stand is not included. Never use it for petrol.
