Overview

This 6000 L vertical diesel tank is a stationary tank for diesel or compatible chemicals, rated to 1.4 specific gravity. It is model V6000M, rotationally moulded from virgin LLDPE in yellow, 2100 mm in diameter and only 1940 mm high. Its low, wide shape makes it a good choice where overhead height is limited.

A 40/50 mm yellow connector sits at the base as the outlet, with sealed fittings, and a 450 mm lid gives access for filling and cleaning. For a 6000 L vertical diesel tank that sits stable and is simple to plumb, this is the practical size between 5000 and 8000 L.

Where it works

Limpopo and Mpumalanga farms use a tank this size as a diesel depot for tractors and trucks. Gauteng contractors keep one at a site yard, mines use it for plant and generators, and municipalities use it for standby power. Place it on a flat, compacted base and secure it once full. A stand is not included. Never use it for petrol.
