Overview

This 1500 L vertical diesel tank is a compact stationary tank for diesel or compatible chemicals, rated to 1.4 specific gravity. It is model V1500M, rotationally moulded from virgin LLDPE in yellow, and at 1450 mm wide and 1150 mm high it fits a workshop corner or a small farm yard. It weighs 40 kg empty, so two people can place it.

It comes ready to plumb: a 40 mm red connector at the top for the inlet, a 40 mm red connector at the base for the outlet, and fuel seals supplied. A 430 mm lid gives access for filling and cleaning. A 1500 L vertical diesel tank like this is the common first step up from drums.

Where it works

Small Limpopo and Mpumalanga farms use this tank for tractor diesel, and workshops in Gauteng keep one for generator backup. Contractors use it at depots and small mine sites, and irrigation farmers use it to supply engine-driven pumps. Place it on a flat, compacted base, secure it once full, and never use it for petrol. A stand is not included, and the tank is for above-ground use only.
