Description

Overview

This galvanised hose reel is a large manual-wind steel reel for diesel hose, holding up to 70 m of 20 mm hose or 45 m of 25 mm hose. It is sold empty, so you fit the hose length that suits your pump and site. The galvanised coating protects the steel in wet and coastal conditions where painted reels rust.

A long hose dragged across a yard picks up grit, gets driven over and wears out quickly. Winding it onto a reel after each fill keeps it clean, tidy and lasting longer. A reel also makes the fuel point look and work like a proper station, which helps when several operators share it every day.

Key features

Large steel reel with galvanised finish
Capacity of 70 m of 20 mm or 45 m of 25 mm hose
Manual wind, no spring to wear out
Mounts on a bowser trailer, truck body or wall
Sold empty, so you choose your own hose length

Where it works

A galvanised hose reel suits fuel points that stand outside year-round, such as KZN sugar farms, coastal Eastern Cape depots and Mpumalanga mine bays in the summer rain. On a tanker trailer or service truck it lets one operator fuel machines spread across a large site. Load it with a 12V 40 L/min diesel pump kit or choose the Piusi K44 flow meter to track what goes out. Browse diesel pumps and accessories.

Questions about this product

Does the hose reel come with hose?

No. The reel is sold empty, so you choose the hose that suits your pump. It holds up to 70 m of 20 mm hose or 45 m of 25 mm hose. We sell both sizes in several lengths, so you can order hose and reel together on the same delivery and save on transport.

Galvanised or standard reel: which should I buy?

Choose galvanised if the reel will live outside, especially near the coast or in high-rainfall areas, because the zinc coating resists rust far better. The standard finish costs less and is fine under a roof or inside a workshop where it stays dry.

How much is delivery for this reel?

The reel ships at about 31.5 kg, which places it in the 30 to 60 kg band at R950 to any address in South Africa. Our own trucks leave Polokwane and normally arrive in 1 to 3 days. If your order adds up to R20,000 or more including VAT, delivery is free.
