Questions about this product

Can I run the 70 L/min 12V pump off a bakkie battery?

Yes, but treat it as a heavy load. A 550 W motor at 12V pulls a lot of current, so connect it straight to the battery with thick, fused cable and keep the engine running while you pump. A deep-cycle battery on a charger or solar panel works well for a fixed fuel point. Keep runs under 30 minutes.

How do I drain the filter bowl?

Switch off the pump and release pressure at the nozzle first. Then loosen the drain screw at the base of the bowl, if your housing has one, or unscrew the bowl over a container. Let the water and sludge run out, wipe the bowl clean and refit it. Doing this weekly keeps the element working longer.
