Overview

The 2CP25/160A is a two-stage, twin impeller end-suction centrifugal pump with a 2.2 kW, 380 V three-phase motor, giving up to 60 m of head and 140 L/min. Two stages give more pressure than a single-stage pump of the same size, which suits double-storey buildings, long pipe runs and irrigation. It is supplied as a pump only, with no controller, so you add your own starter and protection.

Duty points

Flow against head: 20 L/min at 57.2 m, 40 L/min at 54.3 m, 60 L/min at 50.9 m, 80 L/min at 45.7 m, 100 L/min at 37 m, 120 L/min at 24.9 m and 140 L/min at 10 m. Every 10 m of head is about 1 bar of pressure.

This is the pump for sites with three-phase power that need real pressure: sprinkler and drip blocks in the Free State and Western Cape, feed lines to elevated tanks on Mpumalanga farms, and wash-down or pressure boosting in workshops and depots in Gauteng and KZN. Sizing tip

Every 10 m of head is about 1 bar of pressure. Count the taps and sprinklers that run together, add the height you must lift to the pipe friction, and pick a pump whose head at your flow is comfortably above that. Send us your setup and we will help you choose.
