Description

Overview

The Speck BADU Galaxy 19 (code 219.0190.038) is a 1.1 kW self-priming pool pump with commercial pool pump quality for larger home pools and anywhere you need more flow. It primes very quickly, is made from 100 percent recyclable plastic and suits pools of about 80,000 to 150,000 litres.

If you need a 1.1kw pool pump, the Galaxy 19 can sit up to 3 m above or below the water level, which makes the equipment pad easier to plan.

Key features

• 1.1 kW output, 230 V single-phase, 6.3 A, about 2840 rpm
• Self-priming up to 3 m above or below the water level
• 63 mm connections
• Handles water up to 60 degrees Celsius
• Body made from 100 percent recyclable plastic
• Manufacturer model code 219.0190.038

Where it works

Use it on big family pools, estate pools, lodge and hotel pools and club pools where flow and turnover matter. It is a common size in Gauteng, the Western Cape and along the KwaZulu-Natal coast. Mount the pump on a flat, well-drained base that will not flood in heavy rain, and have a qualified electrician do the wiring. It pairs with the 4-bag Superflo Q160 sand filter. The 0.75 kW Galaxy 16 suits smaller pools, and the whole range is in our pool and pond pumps category.
