Overview

This 110 mm waste vent valve lets the gases from a septic tank, conservancy tank or wastewater system escape safely to the atmosphere. It fits 110 mm waste vent pipe, is a two-way design, and carries the model code WASTE-VENT.

As bacteria break down waste in a tank they make methane, carbon dioxide and other gases. Without a vent the gas builds up, causes odours, upsets pressure and hurts system performance. The valve gives the gas a controlled path out, helps keep the tank balanced, and still blocks debris, insects and rainwater from getting in.
