Description

Overview

The 1750 L septic tank is a black, underground tank for containing and processing human and animal sewage waste, sized for homes and small sites serving 1 to 7 people. It is 1430 mm across and 1250 mm high, with 110 mm inlet and outlet and a 450 mm lid.

It is made from LLDPE, with extra thickness for underground pressure. The body keeps roots and rodents out, and at about 50 kg it is easy to move into position. Fittings and an installation guide come with it. Browse more sizes in our septic tank range, and see the 800 mm manhole for pipe junctions.

Where it works

Family homes, farmhouses in Limpopo and the Free State, guest cottages and small offices without a sewer connection. The tank handles human sewage waste, with biodegradation taking place inside. Test the ground for groundwater and clay soils before digging. Keep it away from vehicle traffic and have a qualified builder or plumber install it. Starter tablets and French drains are separate, so ask us. Keep it working with 5 L septic tank liquid.
