This is a 10 000 L water tank combo that stores your water, lifts the pressure and treats it before it reaches the tap. The package pairs a vertical LLDPE tank with a 1.1 kW (1.5 HP) booster pump with automatic controller, a 145 W UV light that sits inside the tank, and a three-stage 20-inch filter set mounted in a frame.

Questions about this product

Does the 1.1 kW pump give enough pressure for a double-storey house?

Yes, for most homes. The pump delivers up to 44 m of head and 120 L/min, which is enough for a normal two-storey house with a few bathrooms. If you run a garden sprinkler at the same time, expect the flow to drop. For bigger demand, look at a larger pump.

Will the UV light make rainwater safe to drink?

The UV-C light and filters improve water quality and help deactivate bacteria, but they do not replace testing. Filtered, low-turbidity water works best, and roof water is cleaner than most. If you plan to drink it, have the water tested and keep the filters changed.

Do you deliver 10 000 L tank combos to Rustenburg or Mbombela?

Yes. We deliver with our own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days. At about 215 kg shipped this combo is over 100 kg, so delivery is on quotation. Send us the town or farm name and we will price it.

Does the price include installation?

No. The package comes with the hose, float valve and pump cover, but installation is not included. Have a plumber set the tank on a level base, connect the inlet and outlet, and wire the pump to a normal 220 V plug point.
