Description

Overview

This 1.1 kW raw sewage and sludge pump is the single-phase choice for septic tanks, small pump stations and effluent sumps where rags and fibre block ordinary dewatering pumps. A star-shaped inlet grabs stringy solids, and the open vane single channel impeller cuts them to a manageable size before they reach the volute. An adjustable bottom plate keeps the clearance to the impeller correct as it wears, which protects efficiency. It runs on 220 V to 240 V, draws 7.2 A, and delivers up to 27 m3/h at 15 m maximum head through a 50 mm outlet.

What size solids will this sewage pump pass?

The impeller passage is 20 mm. The star-shaped inlet and cutter chop stringy material such as rags and fibre before it enters the pump. It is not meant for large objects, so keep stones, plastic bags and building rubble out of the pit.

Can it run off a normal single-phase supply?

Yes. This version is wound for 220 V to 240 V and draws 7.2 A. Use a correctly sized breaker and a cable run that limits voltage drop. For three-phase sites, choose the 380 V model, which draws 2.8 A.
