Overview

This triple foam 10mm pump pontoon is the one to choose for large submersible pumps. It is a foam-filled float rated for up to 550 kg in total, and it holds the pump just below the surface while rising and falling with the water level.

The design allows for 70% submergence at rated load with a 30% safety factor. Pontoons are quoted per order, so send us your pump model and we will price it.

Where it works

Heavy pumps live on big water: mine process dams in Mpumalanga coal country, municipal raw water reservoirs in Gauteng, and large irrigation dams in the Western Cape fruit valleys. A pontoon of this rating keeps the pump steady where lighter floats would sit too low.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, eMalahleni, Cape Town, Rustenburg, Richards Bay and Bloemfontein. Shipping weight is about 36 kg, which falls in the 30 to 60 kg band for a single item. Delivery fees follow total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) are delivered free.
