Overview

This triple foam 8mm pump pontoon is a foam-filled float rated for up to 490 kg in total. It carries a submersible pump just under the surface of a dam, river or reservoir and rises and falls with the water level, so the intake stays in clean water.

It sits between the double foam and the 10mm triple foam sizes, which makes it the sensible pick for pumps too heavy for the lighter floats but not needing the full 550 kg margin.

It is designed for 70% submergence at rated load, with a 30% safety factor. Pontoons are quoted per order, so send us your pump model and we will price it.

Delivery and warranty

Kamano delivers with its own trucks from Polokwane to all nine provinces in 1 to 3 days, including Bloemfontein, Welkom, Klerksdorp, Mahikeng, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Kimberley. Shipping weight is about 32 kg, which falls in the 30 to 60 kg band for a single item. Delivery fees follow total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) are delivered free.
