Overview

This 50 mm suction hose kit gives a larger pump a valved, camlock connection to a tank or water source. The model code is SHK50MM.

The kit supplies the whole inlet in one box: three 50 mm nipples, a ball valve, two camlock tails, two camlock females and a 750 mm length of 50 mm duty suction hose, with two bolted clamps to hold the hose on. A 50 x 40 mm reducing nipple lets you match a 40 mm tank outlet, and a roll of 19 mm thread seal tape is included for the threaded joints. The camlocks make it easy to disconnect the pump for service or to carry it to another tank. Where it works

A 50 mm inlet suits the bigger petrol and electric transfer pumps used for irrigation, dewatering and tank filling. Typical set-ups are a farm tank in the Free State feeding an irrigation pump, a contractor pump drawing from a sump on a Gauteng site, or a mine service tank in Mpumalanga. The camlocks let a crew couple and uncouple without tools.

Delivery is charged by total order weight: up to 30 kg R550, 30 to 60 kg R950, 60 to 100 kg R1,450, and over 100 kg on quotation. Orders of R20,000 or more (VAT incl.) are delivered free.
