Overview

This static brick making machine stands in one place and moulds bricks onto a pallet. One mould is pre-installed and a single 220 V vibrator compacts each drop before the pallet of green bricks is carried off to cure.

Because the machine does not walk across a slab, you need far less concrete floor than with an egg-layer. That makes it a good fit for a yard behind a shop or a corner of a farm workshop. If you want stronger compaction for dense blocks, step up to the power electric static machine with twin vibrators.

Where it works

A static brick making machine fits small urban yards in Gauteng and Durban, farm workshops that make blocks for their own buildings, and suppliers in Limpopo towns who stack and sell bricks from a compact site. Do I need pallets for a static brick machine?

Yes. Each drop lands on a flat pallet that you carry to the curing area, then the next pallet goes in. Pallets are not included, so budget for enough to hold at least two days of output. Steel or treated hardwood pallets last longest.

Static or egg-layer: which should I buy?

Choose static if your yard is small, you want to stack bricks under cover, or you already have pallets. Choose an egg-layer if you have a big, level slab and want to avoid pallet costs. Both use vibration, so brick quality is similar when the mix is right.

Is delivery free to Nelspruit?
