Overview

The DYB-70 24V is a rotary-vane pump that moves diesel and paraffin at 70 litres a minute from a 24V supply. Trucks, loaders and generator sets with 24V batteries can drive it directly, so the pump goes wherever the machine goes. It is a sensible 24v diesel pump at 70 l/min for fleets that run 24V systems.

Questions about this product

Can I use this pump on a 12V bakkie?

No. This pump is wound for 24V DC and will not perform on a 12V battery. Choose the 12V DYB-70 for a bakkie or tractor. Trucks and heavy plant with two 12V batteries wired in series run 24V and suit this model.

How fast does it fill a truck tank?

At 70 litres a minute, a 400 litre tank fills in about six minutes under good conditions. Long hoses, extra lift and a dirty filter reduce flow, so keep the suction side short and clean for best results.

Is it safe for petrol?

No. It is for diesel and paraffin only, and its motor is not explosion-proof. For petrol, choose one of the explosion-proof EX pumps in the fuel transfer category, which are designed for volatile fuels.

How much is delivery to a mine in Mpumalanga?
