The DYB-100 12V is a rotary-vane pump that transfers diesel at 90 to 100 litres a minute straight from a vehicle or battery bank. It suits anyone who needs bulk refuelling speed without mains power. If you are comparing a 12v diesel transfer pump 100 l/min, this is the high-flow end of the 12V range.

Where it works

This is the pump for fuel bakkies and service trucks on mine sites in Mpumalanga and Limpopo, and for road contractors who refuel excavators and graders at the face. Farmers use it to fill tankers and pivot-service vehicles from a bulk tank during harvest. It also suits depots that lose mains power during load-shedding. Diesel and paraffin only: keep petrol away from it.

Questions about this product

Can I run this pump off a bakkie battery?

Yes, it runs on 12V DC, but at 600 W it is a heavy load. Connect it with thick cable and a proper fuse, and keep the engine running while you pump so the battery does not go flat. A short run of cable with solid clamps gives the best flow.

How long does it take to fill a truck tank?

At 90 to 100 litres a minute, a 400 litre truck tank takes about four to five minutes in ideal conditions. Long hoses, a high lift or a clogged filter will slow that, so keep the suction hose short and clean the inlet filter regularly.

Is it suitable for petrol?

No. It is built for diesel and paraffin and is not rated for petrol. The motor is not explosion-proof, so petrol vapour would be a fire risk. For petrol, ask us about the EX series of explosion-proof pumps in our fuel transfer range.

What will delivery cost to my farm?
