Overview

The 5,250 L JoJo vertical chemical storage tank holds a half tanker load of bulk liquid, in a UV-stabilised polyethylene shell 1820 mm across and 2255 mm high. The wall is thicker than the water version, and the tank stands free on a flat, level base. It is the step between the 2,700 L chemical tank and the 10,000 L bulk tank, for farms and sites that refill every few weeks.

Do I need a concrete base?

Yes, a flat, level, compacted base such as a concrete slab at least as wide as the 1820 mm diameter, because a full tank holds over 5 tonnes. Build a bund around it for hazardous chemicals. Check the base with your site manager before filling.

Can it hold liquid fertiliser?

Many liquid fertilisers suit polyethylene, but strengths and densities differ. We assume a medium-duty rating to SG 1.4, so confirm the product and its density with us before ordering. For dense or aggressive liquids we can quote a heavy-duty tank instead.
