Description

Overview

The 3.7 kW (5 HP) three-phase submersible, model WS65-25-3.7E, is the biggest in the portable WSD-series. It moves 65 m3/h at 7 m through a 76 mm outlet and lifts to 25 m at shut-off, so it empties flooded pits quickly and still copes with a decent climb. The open channel impeller passes small solids, and the removable suction screen lets you choose between dewatering and screened sewage.

Where it works

It is the pump to hire out or keep on the bakkie for flood clearance: construction excavations in Gauteng, quarry and mine pits in Limpopo and the North West, plant rooms in Durban and basement parking after Cape Town storms. How much water will it move at a 10 m lift?

At 10 m total head it delivers roughly 55 m3/h, going by the published curve. At 20 m it falls to about 28 m3/h. The 65 m3/h figure is at 7 m. Tell us your total head including hose friction and we will confirm.

Does it have a float switch?

No float switch is listed with this model. Run it manually or add a separate level switch and motor starter with overload protection. A three-phase supply of 380 V to 415 V is required.
