Overview
The MD-300 is the biggest automatic nozzle in this range: a 2-inch inlet, a 42 mm spout and a rated flow of up to 350 L/min, with auto-stop when the tank is full. It is made for large tanks that need to be filled in minutes, such as mining haul trucks, tanker top-ups and big plant. It is aluminium and weighs 2.5 kg, with a 470 mm body.

Where it works
Think opencast coal in Mpumalanga, platinum and chrome mines in Limpopo and North West, and large transport depots where trucks wait for a fill. You only get the full flow with a high-capacity pump and a 2-inch hose line, so check the whole installation, not just the nozzle. Questions about this product
Will the MD-300 reach 350 L/min on my farm tank?
Only with a high-capacity pump and a 2-inch hose line. Most farm transfer pumps deliver far less than that, so you would pay for flow you cannot use. If your pump gives under 150 L/min, the MD-200 or a 1-inch nozzle is a better fit. Tell us the pump and we will advise.
What size filler neck does a 42 mm spout need?
A 42 mm spout is for large truck, tanker and plant filler necks. It will not enter a standard light-vehicle or small tractor neck. Measure your filler opening before ordering, and consider the MD-200 with a 38 mm spout if you are close to the limit.
How is it delivered to a mine in the North West?
