Overview
The MD-200 is a high-volume automatic nozzle: it passes up to 260 L/min through a 1.5-inch inlet and a 38 mm spout, and shuts off when the tank is full. That is more than twice the flow of our 1-inch nozzles and the right size for refuelling large trucks, loaders and bulk tanker transfers. The body is aluminium and the whole nozzle weighs 2.1 kg.

Where it works
Quarries and coal mines in Mpumalanga and Limpopo, haulage depots in Gauteng and bulk farm tanks on big Free State operations all use this class of nozzle. It only makes sense with a pump and hose that can feed it, typically a large mains-powered transfer pump or a bowser with a 1.5-inch line. Questions about this product
What pump do I need for the MD-200?
To reach anything near 260 L/min you need a large mains-powered transfer pump or a bowser with a 1.5-inch line and a short, wide hose. Smaller 12V or 220V farm pumps give far less, and a 1-inch nozzle will serve you better. Tell us your pump and we will advise.
Is the inlet thread 1.5-inch BSP?
The inlet is 1-1/2 inch. Confirm the thread type on your hose swivel before ordering, since BSP and NPT are not interchangeable. Send us a photo of your fitting or the swivel details and we will confirm what you need, or supply an adaptor.
